Never-Ready Golf

 Never-Ready Golf

We all enjoy our golfing opportunities, but get frustrated with being held up by players ahead of us. In most cases, the pressure of a group hard on your heels and a lot of empty space developing between you and the group ahead would be enough to suggest that you need to pick up the pace, but most times we just don't appreciate how easy it can be to achieve that outcome.

If you are in a group that is dragging the chain then just have a look at what could be causing that to be and you will probably find that it is silly things like each of your group waiting to admire the other's shots before moving to your own ball and preparing for your own.

So, keeping up with the pace of play doesn't mean developing an ability to play speed golf. No. It means doing your bit to ensure that the time between your groups' shots is kept to a minimum.

Give it a go next time you are out there and see how it does have a positive impact on reducing your time out on the course.
